Office

The Islamic Manuscript Association’s office is located opposite the Fitzwilliam Museum in the heart of Cambridge. The office includes a growing library where Association members are welcome to browse or study. It also features a permanent exhibition of the Thesaurus Islamicus Foundation’s prints based on selected openings from the finest Mamluk and Ilkhanid Qur’an manuscripts in the National Library and Archives of Egypt. These twelve masterpieces of Qur’an calligraphy and illumination were reconstructed by combining traditional workshop techniques with the latest advances in digital design and printing technology.
