- My researches are mainly focused on collection of Arabic manuscripts of Lviv National University Scientific Library (Ukraine). Most of the manuscripts originate from North African Ibadi communities and were collected by a prominent Polish orientalist Zygmunt Smogorzewski during his visits to North Africa in 1920-s. Ibadis ( al-Ibadiyyah) present one of the earliest religio-political traditions in Islam which crystallised in the course of political and doctrinal polemics within the ummah of late VII – early VIII century and soon developed its original dogmatic school as a moderate alternative to al-Khawarij extremist ideology.
